Thoughts from Your Child

I work very hard at school and really need a break when I come home.  I know you want me to get my homework done immediately but please help me unwind or re-energize. I could use a snack to help:

Calming: Warm drinks, breads, bubble gum, sweets,  sucking through a straw (even applesauce!)

Alerting: Salty, spicy and sour foods, crunchy, chewing (can be calming or alerting depending on child)

Have you found specific foods that you would recommend to our readers?
